Speakers Invitation

On behalf of Nephila Web Technology Inc., the organizing team of Moodlemoot Philippines 2026 is delighted and honored to extend you our invitation to join us as one of the resource speakers/ presenters at our upcoming event. The event will be held at Ibis Styles Manila Araneta City, General Roxas Ave, Cubao, Quezon City, 0810 Metro Manila  from June 18 to 19, 2026.

 

Since 2018, we have hosted the Moodlemoot in the Philippines, an event focused on Moodle and the latest research, trends, and practices in online learning, emphasizing local experiences and Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). After the events of the past years, we remain confident that empowerment and collaboration are more critical than ever to the success of our students and the world’s educational systems.

Our event with the theme “CONVERGENCE 3.0: Artificial Intelligence, Content Development, and Cybersecurity for future-proof education” aims to:

1. Explore the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence within the Moodle ecosystem by showcasing practical AI-driven applications that enhance teaching and learning, personalize learner pathways, support intelligent assessment and feedback, and enable data-informed institutional decision-making through Moodle analytics and integrations.

2. Advance effective digital content development strategies using Moodle by leveraging sound pedagogy, instructional design, and innovative technologies to create engaging, inclusive, accessible, and learner-centered learning experiences through Moodle courses, activities, resources, and plugins.

3. Strengthen cybersecurity awareness and institutional readiness in Moodle implementations by addressing data privacy, platform security, system resilience, and best practices for maintaining safe and trusted digital learning environments aligned with global standards and Moodle security frameworks.

4. Promote the convergence of AI, content development, and cybersecurity within Moodle as an integrated ecosystem essential for building sustainable, scalable, secure, and future-ready education and training systems.
   

This year, we have prepared three (3) streams: (1) Artificial Intelligence, (2) Content Development, and (3) Cybersecurity.  You may choose from these streams and prepare for a 30-minute presentation (including questions and answers).  In return for your confirmation, you will enjoy the following benefits;
