Summary
Overview
Moodlemoot Philippines conference is organized by Nephila Web Technology, Inc. (NWTI. This conference event is dedicated to users, developers, and administrators of the open-source learning management system called Moodle. Teachers, educational administrators, software developers, instructional designers or IT managers who may have success stories or insights about Moodle that they would like to share with the community, this conference is the avenue to let these stories be heard.
Joining the conference allows the participants to share their experience with the Moodle platform, as well as network and learn with professionals from the Education, Research and Development sectors.
The Moodlemoot Philippines conference is a hybrid conference catering both onsite and online participants conference. Online participants shall be able to join via Big Blue Button video conferencing. Data Privacy Policy and User Consents are coursed through the Learning Management System (LMS) platform of Moodle using the LMS site https://mootph.nephilaweb.com.ph.

Personal Data is collected from Clients , Sponsors and Speakers .Personal data is taken from NWTI from Customer database and from inquiries thru company website and inquiries from social media sites and publicly available information.

NWTI uses the collected Personal Data of Clients and other individuals to perform their various functions and processes:

Personal data collected allows NWTI to track participants, provide access to the LMS platform for the participants, send Moodlemoot Philippines conferences activities, for drawing of event prizes , issuance of invoice and certificates.

Speakers' profiles were posted in the event website and social media pages for event marketing purposes.

The event is recorded, and multiple photos and videos are taken to capture the moments of the event. In accordance with our commitment to transparency and user privacy, we collect, process, and store images and video recordings for the purpose of (a) same-day edit videos, (b) event highlight videos (c ) stock photos/ videos for current and future event promotions. These images and footages may contain personal data, including but not limited to images and footage of individuals, and will be handled with the utmost care and confidentiality.

The event venue and premises are equipped with CCTV cameras that capture, record, and store the data according to their business policies. They can share the footage to relevant units which may determine your identity, actions and whereabouts. Your footage may be recorded for a longer duration and processed in other means if it is involved in or of use to a security matter.

The following are the security measures that have been implemented to protect Client Personal Data in its custody and processes with the tenets of Republic Act No. 10173 (DPA of 2012).

All participants can view the personal data of other registered participants through the LMS platform. The following is the list personal data viewable by other participants:

Full Name, School or Organization, and Position

Posted information on the Moodlemoot forums.

Through forums and group messages within the LMS platform or posted messages and livestreams participants can view personal data of other participants.

All participants can view the personal data of other participants during Q&A and Open Forums of live events of the conference.

Sponsors of the Moodlemoot Philippines conference will be given access to the LMS platform and can view the personal data of registered participants, namely their Full Name, School or Organization, Position, Email Address and other contact details.

The event will be posted in Social Media Pages for Learning Purposes.
Data Subject Rights
Clients of NWTI have the right to request access to their respective Personal Data that the company is processing about them. If the Personal Data is found to be incorrect, incomplete, or irrelevant, Clients have the right to request for correction and/or destruction of their Personal Information in the custody of the company.
